4th Billericay Cubs

At Cubs, we aim to spend as much time outdoors as possible. Cub Scouts, aged 8 to 10.5, enjoy activities such as hiking, kayaking, teambuilding, and much more!

Within the Cub Scout Pack there are different groups of young people who are led by Sixers and Seconders. These individuals help our volunteers by taking on responsibilities like the register and helping to organise games and equipment.

During all Cubs' time at 4th Billericay they have the opportunity to go on camps, develop their creative skills, and create lasting friendships.

About us

We meet on Tuesday evenings at 4th Billericay Scout HQ.

Meeting times

Cubs wear a Cubs sweatshirt and a Group Scarf; but for events out and about, we also wear our Group hoodie! More details of our uniform can be found on the uniform page of the website.

When Cubs are invested into the Pack, they might start to receive badges to show their achievement. There are a few different types of badges for Cubs to earn, such as activity badges and challenge awards. These should be sewn onto Cubs' sweatshirts, and you can see where these should go by helpful placement image.

As well as working towards activity badges during our weekly meetings and trips, you can work on badges at home.

Cubs also work towards the core Challenge Awards. By earning all of these badges, Cubs become eligible for the Chief Scout's Gold Award, which is the top award for Cub Scouts.
