Our newest section, Squirrels aims to introduce young people in our community to engage in the principles of Scouting in a fun and adventurous way.

We've launched our new Squirrel Drey so that we can offer an exciting programme of activities to the youngest - bright eyed, and busy tailed - children in our community, in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

4th Billericay Squirrels meet on Thursday afternoons at 4th Billericay Scout Group HQ during term time.

Meeting times

Squirrels wear a red sweatshirt, and are given their Group Scarf after joining. See the Uniform page for details.

When Squirrels are invested into our Drey, they will start to receive badges to show their achievement. There are a few different types of badges for Squirrels to earn, such as activity badges and challenge awards. These should be sewn onto Squirrels' sweatshirts, and you can see where these should go by helpful placement image.
