Joining our Scout Group

We do maintain a waiting list for all sections, but if you would like to become a member of our Scout Group, please provide a few details here.

We'll confirm that you've been added to our waiting list, and if a space in our Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, or Scout sections becomes available, we'll be in touch.

Young Leaders & DofE

Being a young leader in The Scouts is a great way to develop new skills and take part in an adventure.

During your time with us, you'll be working with young people as part of a dynamic team, have the opportunity to complete learning modules to support your own development, and most of all have a great time experiencing leadership!

Whether volunteering as part of the Duke of Edinburgh scheme, or getting involved as an Explorer Scout Young Leader, your experience will support our young people in helping to gain those #SkillsForLife!

Support Roles & Team Membership

Behind every activity is a network of volunteers from our community, bringing different skills together to support our young people.

Volunteering as an adult with our Scout Group is a flexible, collaborative, and incredibly fun way to make a real difference. It is a rewarding experience where you can guarantee that every week will bring something completely different!

During your time with us, you'll play a vital role in helping children develop and gain valuable skills for life, all while boosting your own CV. Simply put, with more adults on board, we are able to do even more for our young people.

Whether you're looking to jump right in and work directly with our Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, or Scouts, or you'd prefer to help out behind the scenes in one of our essential support teams, there is a perfect role waiting for you!
