The Beaver Scouts age range is from 6 to 8 years. A young person may join Beavers the half term before their 6th birthday, and can remain until the half term after their 8th birthday, at which point they will be invited to become part of the Cub Scout Pack.

Beavers take part in a wide range of activities. This includes making things, singing, playing games, going on visits, investigating nature, listening to stories, and much more. They do this through taking part in a programme of activities provided by the leadership team.

Meeting times

Beavers wear a Beavers sweatshirt, and a Group Scarf. For events out and about, we also wear a polo shirt or hoodie. See the Uniform page for details.

When Beavers are invested into our Colony, they will start to receive badges to show their achievement. There are a few different types of badges for Beavers to earn, such as activity badges and challenge awards. These should be sewn onto Beavers' sweatshirts, and you can see where these should go by helpful placement image.
